Our journey starts way back in 2020
Story
Amidst the chaos caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a glimmer of hope that shone through. This was the birth of appygrab – a locally developed food ordering app designed with the intent of supporting small businesses and individuals in the community.
The pandemic has created a lot of discussion concerning mental health, and this has been prominent not only in local news but also in national news. It is essential to identify and consider the signs and implications of mental health issues. Small businesses and event organizers are breaking barriers by working together to create social events that are aimed at getting people out of their homes, meeting new people, and making new friends.
Local events play a significant role in bringing communities together and supporting local businesses, which, in turn, fosters a sense of belonging. Despite social media being an excellent tool for marketing events, not everyone has the confidence or expertise to utilize it properly.
Additionally, sometimes local events aren’t seen or heard, and this is where Wyre Live comes in. It provides a level playing ground for individuals and event organisers to connect with the community and promote their events using a simple but powerful platform.
